All Hail Our Savior On This The Feast Of Christ The King!
The New Christendom Exists To Bring THIS DAY Into The Hearts and Minds of Our Readers And Those With And Under Them
My friend Mike P. made the signal point to me, 6 years ago, about this day, The Feast of Christ The King.
“I despise the artwork that depicts Our Lord as a dainty, metrosexual. He suffered the greatest tortures ever known for our salvation including being beaten nearly to death! I want to see artwork that conveys His suffering because my sin caused it.”
Thus I chose this image for today’s Feast of Christ The King, the very purpose for this publication, The New Christendom Daily. Yes, the images of Christ The King in resplendent robes and a crown of gold are beautiful but is in his Passion where His Kingship is declared as the world He came to save denies him.
Pilate therefore went into the hall again, and called Jesus, and said to him: Art thou the king of the Jews? [34] Jesus answered: Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or have others told it thee of me? [35] Pilate answered: Am I a Jew? Thy own nation, and the chief priests, have delivered thee up to me: what hast thou done?
[36] Jesus answered: My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would certainly strive that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now my kingdom is not from hence.
In this beautiful work, Our Lord is shown as we might see him, pondering His Passion and billions of thankless souls who will deny it’s Eternal significance and it’s expression of ultimate love. Beyond which there is and can be no other.
On 11 December, anno domini 1925, his holiness of blessed memory, Pope Pius XI issued Quas Primas, the encyclical that he hoped would establish forevermore, this day, in the hearts and minds of all the faithful, of Christ The King. In this magnificent work, Pius XI wrote.
It would be a grave error, on the other hand, to say that Christ has no authority whatever in civil affairs, since, by virtue of the absolute empire over all creatures committed to him by the Father, all things are in his power. Nevertheless, during his life on earth he refrained from the exercise of such authority, and although he himself disdained to possess or to care for earthly goods, he did not, nor does he today, interfere with those who possess them. Non eripit mortalia qui regna dat caelestia.
The late, great, Michael Davies gave this talk on the subject and I pray you will listen to it and be inspired to become a CRUSADER Knight or maiden and join Our Lord in the battle for His Kingdom’s Reign here on earth.
Quas Primas is one of the top 5 encyclicals ever. It should be required reading of every Christian.

Fr Shannon Collins sermon, a 25 minute dissertation on Quas Primas of Pope Pius xi of Holy Memory and Fr Fahey’s dedication of Christ the King. Our Lords passion is our saving grace, but on Christ the King I prefer to see HIM crowned in Gold with the royal robes bedecking HIM as all should bow and give HIM the honor due to HIM alone.
