The CoronaDoom™ Has Turned The von Trapp Family Into Actual Nazis

A longtime listener to The Mike Church Show sent me this via protonmail and gave me permission to repost it for your ironic laughter. I could almost hear Mel Brooks yell “Seeeee, ‘Hitler …on …Ice!’” as I read this one. As someone who had lost their sense of humor once supposedly said “you just can’t make this stuff up.”

We went skiing last week in Stowe, VT and experienced a most ironic encounter after which I felt compelled to write and share it with you. 

I don't know if you're aware of it or not, but the Von Trapp family of "Sound of Music" fame after they fled Austria ahead of the Nazis in 1938 they eventually settled in Stowe, VT and started the Von Trapp family lodge which is still in operation today.  How ironic then, when my children and I went to go into the Stowe Mountain Ski Lodge to be stopped at the door by an employee who demanded to see our vaccination cards (our papers).

It was as if we were in Nazi Germany and being treated like second class citizens.  I just ignored the employee and walked on by as did my son.

The shear irony of the fact that in the one place in the USA where a very public family prominently moved to escape totalitarianism, totalitarianism is now in full swing.
