The Polls Have Been Terribly Wrong Before

In 1980 The Pollsters & Media Told Us Carter Was Going To Mop The Floor With Reagan

Maybe this is bothering you too: how is it possible that the most untested yet detestable candidate for the Presidency, is now cruising to a 1.3% edge in the RCP, Poll of Polls over Trump?

What if I told you this happened before?

What if we went back and looked at the last time a Democrat incumbent was responsible for;

• Double digit inflation.

• Record high mortgage rates (10 yr avg).

• Record high unemployment (work force participation is at a 30 yr low).

• Energy prices at near record highs and supply in question.

• Lethal instability in the Middle East.

• The Russians literally laughing at us and our incompetence.

• 4 in 5 Americans saying we're "on the wrong track".

• An election to fix this mess where the party responsible is inconceivably making it "too close to call".

Well, it HAS happened before, in 1980, when the 5th Estate, State Run State Owned Media assure America that Carter would beat Reagan. But that's NOT what happened. Here is Time Magazine's December 1, 1980 accounting of the Reagan landslide and how ALL the pollsters and pundits absolutely blew it

The only people who weren't shocked were the 40+ million who voted for Reagan to basically Make America Great Again.

So, my fellow MAGA Americans, they are trying to depress us, throw us into a state of despair and get us to stay home on November 5th. Don't fall for it. History and our fellow Americans are relying on us to get this one right, arrest the slide, just like some of us did in the 1980's and once again, defeat communism, this time in its American form.

I hope Rob Schneider sees this post and leads us in a chant of "You can do it!"
