This picture says it all. Novak Djokovic showing his son love for the Theotokos and the child Jesus (he is Eastern Orthodox). If you are devoted to Our Lady as I am then you know, this isn’t a one off. And you also know, per Saint Bernard and Saint Alphonsus Ligouri “that a child of Mary can never be lost.” From the BBC:
But in court on Monday, the lawyers saw that this was too weak a rebuttal against the standards confirmed by the judge, and the evidence of Djokovic's team. They could see that the immigration official had done the wrong thing.
Shortly after the court resumed on Monday afternoon, the government's counsel asked for an adjournment.
They returned 40 minutes later with a concession.
Yep, the Good, True and Beautiful just beat "Get the Jib" evil. See, the good guys, DO win.
“God sees everything! Morality and ethics as the greatest ideals are the guiding stars towards spiritual upliftment. My grace is spiritual, and theirs material wealth,” he reportedly told his brother on Thursday. (from AM Greatness)
And so does the Good Lady. This is a photo of an Our Lady of Perpetual Help icon I commissioned from artist Norman Faucheux.
Our Lady of Perpetual Help! Hasten to help us!
Thanks for this clarifying comment, Brother!
In this case the fellow won (thank God!), but, in considering the possibility that he could have lost (and went into this not knowing whether he'd win or loose), let's look at what a great Catholic thinker had to say about fighting in the face of difficult odds:
"Don't tell me that if defeat is certain, fighting is useless. In the first place, fighting can lessen, can soften the catastrophe; and in the second place, for us whose glory it is to be Catholic, fighting is the accomplishment of a duty, not the result of a calculation." (Juan Donoso Cortes, 1846)
