Micro-Communitarian Solution: Part 1

Stop Talking and Organize

Individualism: One of the many erroneous philosophies plaguing our land. But, here’s the thing. Most of the “good guys” are just as guilty of being individualistic as the rest of the anarchic population around them. So, the tyranny grows while we atomize.

It is quite the dilemma. If everyone is FOR THEMSELF, how can a counter-revolution begin? In essence, the TROOPS WON’T MUSTER. Too many chiefs? Maybe. Too many fools? Definitely.

But not you, right? Seriously! Are you one that recognizes the problem? And haven’t you authority over anyone? Yes, I am calling all Dads here. So, allow me to propose a simple, first step in combatting the evils around us. It is a micro solution. It is not the full solution, but one step on a path towards it. Leaders and friends and fellowship and even wealth will develop from it.

I think it is best to conceive of this as a family affair first. Plus, it puts the strategy into easily understandable and accessible items. Here it is:

1. Sell the multiplicity of homes that your family members currently own i.e. the parents home and each of the children’s homes.

2. Buy a tract of land where one large house OR a multitude of small houses can accommodate the new, family abodes. The goal here HAS TO BE smaller, more economical accommodations.

3. Have a central barn or large shed to house the ONE tractor (you sold the 3, 4 or 5 others, the one’s each sibling had), the ONE set of tools, the ONE set of everything that we currently own separately. The money raised by selling off other items should be used to expand your operation.

4. Begin living as a community that SHARES items and expenses rather than one that remains impoverished by the manifest waste that occurs by individualistic thinking. Just think, now you can share groceries and divide labor. Instead of everyone having to “do the yard” on Saturday, one person can, thereby freeing up the labor of the others to DEVELOP self-sufficiency. Magic!

5. Use the SAVED wealth to either further invest and develop the community homestead OR as alms to those groups that are at the forefront of the battle to save our homeland. Heck, use the wealth to help another family create a COMMUNITY right next to you.

That’s not hard, is it? And yet it would be a great blessing to you and the world around us.
