(Think about it: how would you get people from a scientific and technological and post-Christian culture to believe in sky gods descending, if not to present them as advanced beings from other planets who gad about in advanced technological chariots?) And I know that the churches, and the Christian people, are not remotely ready for what is coming, and coming at us hard.
